Fighty McFightface is designed to give rookie fencers (who have never competed in a longsword tournament, or those who have never made it out of pools) a chance to compete while being coached by some of the most well-known and up-and-coming coaches in HEMA. This is a chance for newer fencers to network and meet some of the community leaders in the region (and possibly across the USA).
Please note to ensure the spirit of FMFF being a rookie tournament, we may contact a registrant’s head coach to ensure that FMFF (as opposed to open longsword) is the best tournament for them. Fencers who meet the FMFF qualifying criteria may register for both FMFF and Open Longsword as long as space allows.
Fighty McFightface will use Flowerpoint rules found here: 2020 Flowerpoint Open Longsword and FMFF Rules
